The cut-price airline, AirAsia, has daily flights from Ubon Ratchathani to Suwannaphum Airport, Bangkok and from Suwannaphum Airport, Bangkok to Ubon 
Ratchathani. The cost varies for these flights Depending on available promotions at the

The low cost airline, Nokair, has prodding daily flights from Ubon Ratchathani to Don Mueang International Airport, Bangkok and from Don Mueang International Airport, Bangkok to Ubon Ratchathani. For further information please visit  http://www.nokair.com
   
By road  

   Ubon Ratchathani approximately 600 kilometres from Bangkok. It can be accessed day and night by a regular and comfortable bus service (Nakhon ChaiAir) that operates out of the major terminal in Bangkok at         Mor Chit. The cost is about 640 baht and the journey takes about 8 hours, passing through Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, and Sisaket.

By car  
Starting  From Bangkok, please take Highway

No. 1 (Phahonyothin Road) to Saraburi and then Highway No. 2 (Mittraphap Road) to Nakhon Ratchasima; finally, take Highway No.226 to Ubon Ratchathani through Buri Ram, Surin, and Si Sa Ket.
Starting From Bangkok, you can take Highway No. 1 (Phahonyothin Road) to Saraburi and then Highway

No.2 (Mittraphap Road) to Sikhio (Nakhon Ratchasima), then turning onto Highway No.24 and proceeding to Ubon Ratchathani through Chok Chai, Nang Rong, Prasat, Det Udom, Warin Chamrap, and Ubon ratchathani.
A total distance of 629 kilometers.

   
By train – trains from Hualamphong Station in Bangkok terminate at Ubon Ratchathani Station in Warin Chamrap. There are 7 trains per day, the cost ranges from 205 to 1780 baht, and the journey takes about 13 hours. Information can be obtained by going to http://www.railway.co.th
